Here we have a Nintendo Switch 2 that is totally dead.

This Switch 2 was sent by the customer to Nintendo under warranty.

Below is the report from Nintendo Warranty service.

As you can see here, the right JoyCon rail has some shmoo on it. Does this look like liquid to you?

Either way the Issue was found to be the CP10359AT. This is the main USB controller.

Under the thermal cam this IC lights up like a Xmas tree.

This IC is not sold anywhere so it can only be obtained from a donor board. Very little is known about it.
